Hi Elissa! I love the choice of glass in the image, it 'speaks', and thank you for sharing your experiences of doing it all: life, family and words. All the very best getting your novels out into the world.
The glass was a tiny margarita that arrived right at the point I had made it through edits on two important chapters, a long day, and the hint that I needed to take a break! :)
Thanks so much, Claudia! I'm sure you know what I mean about the quiet -- especially among our friends who go back and forth between genres, or who get to a point where they have a ton of drafts that they need to take time to revise, and all those working on books, queries, etc., or even just into the thick of living. We're lucky to have such community, and it's that combo of cheering people on and missing them when they're quiet. :)
Thanks for sharing. As the Roches once sang, "Keep on doing what you do." Your physical, spiritual, aesthetic, and intellectual investment in your writing—and the writing of others—is inspiring.

Thanks, Belinda!

Love this, Elissa. Your voice! And love how you weave in the everything that is your life-- writing, your kids, teaching, friends, your novels. . .
